What you can expect

Day 1: Mahdia – Kairouan – Jilma – Metlaoui – Tozeur

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Mahdia.

Visit Kairouan: discover this historic city, famous for its beautifully decorated mosques and rich cultural heritage.

Stop in Jilma for a photo and admire the picturesque landscape of the region.

Lunch in Metlaoui at a local restaurant.

You'll arrive in Tozeur in the late afternoon.

4x4 tour to explore the dunes, oases, and canyons of the desert.

Check-in at the hotel.

Day 2: Tozeur – Chott el Jerid – Douz – Matmata – El Jem – Mahdia

Breakfast at the hotel.

Crossing the Chott el Jerid, the salt lake with spectacular colours, perfect for unique photos.

Things to do in Douz

Quad bike ride: explore the sandy terrain for an adrenaline-filled experience (optional)

Camel ride: admire the desert from a unique perspective.

Sandboarding: glide down the dunes for a fun and dynamic adventure (optional).

Lunch in Matmata and visit the troglodyte dwellings, famous for their traditional architecture and decor used in Star Wars.

Stop at the Roman amphitheatre in El Jem, one of the best preserved in the world, for a guided tour.

Head back to Mahdia at the end of the day and wrap up the tour.
