What you can expect

Enjoy the forest landscapes of the Wildpark and take in the hustle and bustle of the Stadthafen as you cycle along this 30-40 kilometre route. Ride along riverbanks and dedicated cycling trails as well as flat and scenic country roads.
The route starts from Markleeberg and proceeds through the Wildpark and down the Elster. Pass Clara Zetkin Park and the Stadthafen, then cross Palmengartenwehr into the Leutzscher Holz. Visit Auen Lake and stop for a break and a snack.
Cycle back along the Luppe past Cospudener Lake and the Elster flood basin. Stops can be make at the Wildpark, Clara Zetkin Park, the Stadthafen, and Lake Cospuden to take in the views and learn about the area.
