Giardini di Villa Rufolo

The garden of Villa Rufolo, also known as the Garden of the Soul, is spread over two levels to which a nineteenth-century tree-lined avenue introduces us. The ancient walls, just hidden by cypresses and lime trees, lead discreetly up to the Moorish cloister and, after a short pause, in which the noble architecture appears naked to the gaze, a small staircase introduces us to the first level of the garden. The atmosphere is enveloping and recalls an ancient dimension that takes you back to the romantic garden and where the exciting verses of Boccaccio still echo.
Duomo di Ravello

The Duomo, which overlooks the main square (Piazza Vescovado), is the spiritual and social centre of Ravello. Built in the 11th century with the support of the Rufolo family, the Duomo is a combination of Baroque and Romanesque styles. Dedicated to San Pantaleone, the church has undergone extensive alterations and restorations over the last 900 years. The shining white façade of the Duomo dates back to the last major restoration in 1931.
