What you can expect

  • Explore the Costa da Morte on a full-day trip from Santiago de Compostela. Travel by air-conditioned coach with a local guide and visit seven stops along Galicia’s Atlantic coast.

    The route includes Muros, the Hórreo de Carnota, the Ézaro waterfall, Cape Finisterre, free time in the fishing town of Fisterra, the Sanctuary of Virxe da Barca in Muxía, and Ponte Maceira. At Cape Finisterre, see the lighthouse and the Camino’s Km 0 marker. In Muxía, visit the sanctuary and its Atlantic setting.

    The tour includes transport, a local guide in Spanish and English, and pickup and return at one of three central locations in Santiago. The exact pickup point is confirmed via WhatsApp the day before; arrive 10 minutes before departure.

    You’ll have 1 hour 30 minutes of free time in Fisterra. Lunch, food and drinks are not included. Bring comfortable shoes for uneven ground and a windproof or rainproof layer. The route may change slightly due to weather or road conditions. The excursion lasts approximately 9.5 hours.
