Visit the heartland of Herzegovina on a full-day trip with a local guide. Explore popular locations and learn about the history and traditions of the region.
From Sarajevo, your first stop is Konjic, a small town known as the gateway into Herzegovina. Visit the old town and pass by the Ottoman Bridge. After Konjic, the road leads us to the breathtaking Kravica Waterfall. Here, you’ll be amazed by a 25‑metre cascade that forms a wide amphitheatre of turquoise pools surrounded by lush greenery.
Then, head over to the stunning uphill town of Pocitelj, which had a strategic fort during the Ottoman period. Afterwards, discover Blagaj and have the opportunity to spiritually enlighten yourself with the presence of the mystic dervish orders that Herzegovina is famous for. The mineral-enriched Buna river also awaits you.
Finally, arrive at the town of Mostar, known as the gem of Herzegovina. Admire its famous UNESCO-protected bridge, the Stari Most, and then have the chance to bargain with local vendors at the old market. Throughout your journey, you can also see the emerald green river of Neretva, which prides itself as the coldest river on the planet.
