Explore the highlights of Armenia on a guided tour from Tbilisi. Visit the Yerevan capital of Armenia, Lake Sevan, Sevanavank Monastery, Dilijan, the Cascade Complex, the Mother of Armenia statue, and Republic Square.
Begin to Lake Sevan, one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world, situated at about 1,900 metres above sea level. Next, visit the Mother of Armenia statue in Victory Park, overlooking Yerevan. This massive monument symbolises peace, strength, and protection of the Armenian nation. The figure holds a sword, representing vigilance and resilience. Beneath the statue is a military museum dedicated to Armenia’s history.
Finally, end your tour at Republic Square, the central and most important square of Yerevan, designed by architect Alexander Tamanyan. It is surrounded by elegant buildings made of pink and yellow tuff stone, including the Government House, History Museum, and National Gallery.
