This route is made for photography lovers and those who want the “classic Mt. Fuji shot.” Begin at Arakurayama Sengen Park, where the five-story Chureito Pagoda perfectly frames Mt. Fuji—a view seen on countless postcards. Wander the nostalgic Shimoyoshida Honcho Street with its retro charm and overhead Fuji views. Next, capture the reflections of Japan’s most famous mountain at Lake Kawaguchi and the colourful flowerbeds of Oishi Park. Enjoy a short break at the majestic Shiraito Waterfall, known for its cascading white streams and cool mist, before heading to Obuchi Sasaba, a lush tea plantation where rolling green fields meet the distant snowcapped peak.
