What you can expect

Day 1) Begin your adventure with a drive from Ulaanbaatar to the Orkhon Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Stop for lunch before visiting a nomadic family and riding a horse to the Ulaan Tsutgalan Waterfall. Spend the night with the nomadic family, experiencing their way of life.

Day 2) Travel to Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire. Visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery, one of Mongolia’s oldest Buddhist sites, and explore the Kharkhorin Museum and ruins. Spend the night in a traditional ger (yurt) guesthouse with modern amenities. The ger guesthouse has a modern shower, modern toilet room place, electric and wifi. Toilet not inside ger.

Day 3) After breakfast, head to the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes, where desert, steppe, and mountain landscapes meet. Enjoy horse ride a camel riding experience
After then drive back to Ulaanbaatar, reflecting on your unforgettable adventure into Mongolia’s volcanic history and nomadic culture.
