For security reasons, trekking boots and mountain clothing is necessary for this activity. In case you do not have the appropriate clothing you will have the option to rent.

Get picked up from your hotel and transferred to the starting point of the walk, about 20 minutes from the city of Ushuaia.

Before starting the activity, you will be provided with trekking poles, crampons if necessary, and a box lunch.

The walk crosses forests and two different valleys following the Esmeralda River to its source. After five kilometres of walking and about 250 metres of unevenness, reach the Laguna Esmeralda where you'll take a break for lunch and a cup of tea or coffee.
