Kanmon Bridge Drive‑By View|Duration: approx. 10 min
Cross the bridge connecting Honshu and Kyushu and admire spectacular strait scenery including blue seas, passing ships and coastal landscapes.
Karato Market / Mojiko Retro District|Duration: approx. 60 min (includes lunch break)
Karato Market, known as “the Kitchen of Kanmon”, is a bustling fisherman’s market offering fresh seafood, local snacks and handicrafts. Taste sushi and local treats at your own cost and experience authentic local atmosphere.
Important: The market operates Friday‑Sunday and is closed every Wednesday, plus March 4, 11, 25. Please confirm latest opening status with customer service in advance. If the market is closed on your tour date, we will visit Mojiko Retro District as the fixed alternative. No partial refund will be issued for this segment. Mojiko Retro District is a nostalgic port area featuring western‑style architecture, retro cafes and boutique shops, ideal for sightseeing and photography.
Motonosumi Shrine|Duration: approx. 60 min
Ranked among CNN’s 31 Most Beautiful Places in Japan. Walk through 123 vermilion torii gates lining the cliff‑side overlooking the sea and enjoy the striking contrast of red gates against the blue ocean. Try the traditional lucky coin‑toss ritual.
Note: The inner worship area closes on weekends, national holidays, May 2‑10 and Aug 8‑16. The coastal torii gates remain accessible.
Mount Sarakura Night View (Million‑Dollar View)|Duration: approx. 90 min
Enjoy Kitakyushu’s iconic “Million‑Dollar View”, one of Japan’s New Three Great Night Views. Ropeway tickets are at your own expense. If the ropeway is closed, we will arrange alternative sightseeing spots such as Akama Shrine or Fukuoka Tower. Per platform policy, travellers may request a full refund for this affected portion.
