During this activity, you will spend the night in a portaledge tent suspended on a cliff overlooking the fjord. These tents were developed by professional climbers for multi-day climbs. Since you are accompanied by an experienced guide, you don’t need prior climbing experience – just a good sense of adventure! The hike to your accommodation is a beautiful little path that takes you around 1h and opens up to spectacular views. Once you reach camp, your guide will show you around the area. You then have time to enjoy this beautiful piece of Norwegian nature and take a wander around. Dinner is prepared at camp and served by the bonfire – if the weather allows for it. You spend the evening with stories and amazing views before you climb down into your tent hanging on the cliff side 400m above Sørfjorden overlooking Folgefonna Glacier. After a beautiful evening and night out in the wilderness, you will be served breakfast before you pack up and hike back to civilisation.
