Next, we’ll take a short cultural tour of Mkwiro or Vumba Village on Wasini Island. This is a meaningful opportunity to experience island life and engage with the local community. If you’d like to bring small donations such as books, sanitary towels, or gently used clothes, they’ll be warmly welcomed by local families. After the village visit, we’ll return to Shimoni for a delicious Swahili lunch prepared by local women. Not only will you enjoy the rich, authentic flavours of coastal cuisine, but your meal also directly supports these women and their families.
