After returning to the port, you will board a shared vehicle and continue the journey to the Paracas National Reserve. During the visit, you will stop at the Interpretation Centre, a facility that presents photographs and information about the region’s fauna, flora, and key features of the Paracas Peninsula. The route then continues through the desert landscape of the reserve towards the coastal viewpoint known as La Catedral. This area was once home to a notable natural rock formation, which was affected by the 2007 earthquake. Today, the site offers panoramic views of the desert and ocean, as well as opportunities to observe seabirds from designated viewpoints. The tour also includes visits to Playa Roja and Lagunillas Beach, where there will be time to relax and purchase refreshments if available. At the conclusion of the excursion, you will be transferred back to San Martín Port to rejoin your cruise ship.
