The Amazon Sightseeing Tour is a full-day excursion to the Hola Vida Ecological Reserve, located in the province of Pastaza, Ecuador. The reserve is a wildlife sanctuary that is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. The sightseeing tour offers visitors the opportunity to explore the rainforest, learn about indigenous culture, and experience the natural beauty of the Amazon.

Itinerary
9:00 AM: Depart from Baños to the city of Puyo.
10:00 AM: Arrival at the “Mira Mera” vantage point. Visit to the vantage point and enjoy the panoramic views.
10:30 AM: Continue the journey to the Kichwa “Wayuri” Community.
11:00 AM: Arrival at the “Wayuri” Kichwa Community. Cultural exchange with the community, learning about their lifestyle, participating in activities such as blowpipe, achiote painting, and traditional dance, and admiring their crafts.
12:30 PM: Canoe ride on the Puyo River (approximately 45 minutes).
1:00 PM: Typical lunch in the community, tasting “maito de tilapia” and “Wayusa”.
2:00 PM: Hike to the “Hola Vida” waterfall (approximately 1 hour return). Enjoy a refreshing swim at the waterfall and observe the local flora and fauna.
3:00 PM: Visit to the “Indichuris” vantage point. Admire the Amazonian landscape and take photos.
04:00 PM: Visit to a local family dedicated to the cultivation and processing of cocoa. Participation in the preparation of organic chocolate using traditional artisanal techniques.
5:30 PM (approx.): Return to Baños.
