Full-Day Excursion to Nicaragua from Guanacaste.
Enjoy a unique experience combining culture, history, and nature on a full-day tour to Nicaragua from Guanacaste. You will visit iconic destinations such as Granada, the Masaya Volcano, the Mirador de Catarina, and the Isletas de Granada.
The adventure starts early with pickup from your hotel or Airbnb in Costa Rica, followed by transport to the Peñas Blancas border to complete the immigration procedures. In Nicaragua, our licensed transport and bilingual tour guide will continue the tour.
The first stop is Playa La Virgen for a typical breakfast. We then visit the Mirador de Catarina, with breathtaking views of Lake Nicaragua. We continue to the Masaya Volcano National Park, where the visit to the crater will depend on security conditions; if it's not available, a short hike or a visit to the museum is offered.
The sightseeing tour continues to Granada, where you will enjoy a typical lunch, a horse-drawn carriage ride through the historic centre, a visit to a cigar factory, and a boat ride around the Isletas de Granada.
Finally, we return to Costa Rica.

To expedite the border crossing, it is necessary to send a photo of the passports in advance, which allows for the management of exit taxes and facilitates the immigration process.
