Experience the thrill of kloofing, the South African term for canyoning, as you descend a river within a canyon or ravine. This adventure includes swimming, scrambling over boulders, jumps, and abseiling down waterfalls.

Begin with a safety briefing and gear fitting, including a wetsuit, helmet, harness, and lifejacket. Then, set off on a hike through Afro-montane rainforest and Fynbos biomes on your way down into the canyon. The guide has a Degree in Conservation so you can learn a lot about the environment on the trip as well. Once inside the canyon you follow the river down as the canyon gets more narrow. Once inside the only way out is down river.
