What you can expect

  • Nuremberg is known worldwide for its Christkindlesmarkt, Albrecht Dürer, and bratwurst sausages. But the city has much more to offer: In an entertaining 90-minute walk, you will not only discover the postcard motifs of the Pegnitz metropolis, but also gain fascinating insights into its past. The walking tour leads from the Henkerhaus along the Pegnitz to the Hauptmarkt with the Frauenkirche, then to the historic town hall and the famous Sebalduskirche, and finally back through the Weißgerbergasse, which was spared from war damage, over the Maxbrücke, and through the most beautiful part of the Old Town.
