What you can expect

  • Travel back in time to the “Battle of Sekigahara,” the largest battle in Japan's medieval history. Visit the museum, which has been renovated to make it easier for foreign visitors to understand, and the remains of the samurai camps on the old battlefield under the guidance of a local guide.

    Experience the flow and causes of the great war that represented the age of the samurai, and the subsequent history in an intense way. At each camp site, there are reconstructed defensive facilities that remind you of the battles of the past, as well as exhibits on the strategies taken by the warriors.

    Stand right in the middle of the battlefield and feel as if you were a samurai fighting there.
