Escape the Gold Coast for a full-day self-guided adventure through Tamborine Mountain, combining ancient rainforest, spectacular lookouts, local food and drink, boutique wineries, distilleries, breweries and the famous Gallery Walk.

Depart the Gold Coast at approximately 8:30 am and travel into the hinterland to Tamborine Mountain. Once on the mountain, use the Hop On Hop Off service to create your own personalised itinerary and travel between participating stops throughout the day.

Suggested Itinerary

8:30 am – Depart Gold Coast
Meet at your selected pickup point and travel through the hinterland to Tamborine Mountain.

Approx. 9:30 am – Arrive Tamborine Mountain

9:30 am–12:30 pm – Rainforest, lookouts & attractions
Choose the experiences that interest you most. Explore Tamborine National Park, walk to Curtis Falls or Cedar Creek Falls, discover Witches Falls, take in the views from Robert Sowter Park or Rotary Lookout, or visit Gallery Walk, Tamborine Mountain Rainforest Skywalk or the Coffee Plantation.

12:30 pm–2:00 pm – Lunch & local flavours
Choose a lunch stop or visit one of the mountain's local producers. Options include Cedar Creek Estate, Hampton Estate Wines, Witches Falls Winery, Tamborine Mountain Distillery, Cauldron Distillery, Castle Glen Australia and Fortitude Brewing Company.

2:00 pm–3:45 pm – Continue exploring
Choose another attraction, rainforest walk, lookout, winery, brewery or distillery before returning to your departure point.

4:00 pm – Depart Tamborine Mountain
Approx. 5:00 pm – Return to Gold Coast
