Inside the cave, participants will experience a Goma fire ritual conducted before the principal deity, Shōgun Jizō. Surrounded by rising flames and the resonant chanting of sutras, a special time unfolds for deep introspection. In addition, Ajikan meditation—held in a space not normally open to the public—guides participants towards deep healing as they unite breath with the rhythms of nature. After the experience, tea and traditional sweets will be served as an offering, providing an opportunity for warm communication with the head priest and local parishioners. Encountering both the solemn spirituality of the sacred site and the warmth of the people creates a journey of “prayer and renewal” that nourishes body and soul.
