Our circular route to the island starts from the south in the area of Puerto Mogán in the direction of Veneguera, the untouched and wild west coast. We will continue through La Aldea and the impressive Andén Verde, where we will discover a different landscape with forest and cultivated areas. After some time to relax in Puerto de las Nieves and a visit to the Dedo de Dios, we will continue along the northern coast until we reach a banana plantation, where we will taste the product par excellence of our islands (optional).
Throughout the excursion, our local guide will help us to understand the geological formation and history of our island.
And finally an excellent panoramic view of the beach of Las Canteras and return to our starting point, after literally going around the island.
Highlights:
- Los Azulejos de Veneguera (the rainbow rocks): An amazing natural monument that seems to have been coloured by a giant brush (20 min stop).
- La Aldea de San Nicolás: It is perhaps the most isolated town on the island, surrounded by cliffs and ravines of great beauty, is well known for the tomato farmland, its main economic activity.
- Puerto de las Nieves: Charming seafaring harbour northernmost where we will have free time for lunch (not included in the price - 90 min stop).
