Health and Wellness – Forest Swimming Experience, Basic overview:
Shinrin-yoku is the Japanese practice known as ‘forest swimming,’ an immersion into the atmosphere of the forest.
Meet your guide at a central location and follow them to the start of your walk. Leave all electronics behind (recommended) and walk into the forest.
Take a slower-paced walk that is not a hike but a journey into deepening your awareness and exercising being present. When you reach a suitable spot, sit and be still and quiet.
Then, see if you can bring out the kid in you and try some barefoot walking and being carefree as you exercise muscles you usually neglect. From there, find your way back to your cars where you can add on a cold plunge if you want to participate.
