What you can expect

  • Take a journey through Beijing and explore its rich history, fascinating architecture, ancient buildings, and the world-famous Great Wall of China. Discover the historic Tiananmen Square, wander around the Forbidden City, and enjoy majestic views atop the Great Wall's Badaling section.

Your tour begins with a hotel pickup in the morning and a visit to the Tiananmen Square for a cultural and historical overview of the province. See Tiananmen Tower, Chairman Mao's monument, and the Great Hall of the People.

Next, travel to the Forbidden City, once an ancient imperial palace. Marvel at the complex's traditional Chinese architecture and its collection of preserved ancient wooden structures consisting of 980 buildings covering 180 acres (72 ha).

Break for a delicious Chinese lunch before visiting the Badaling section of the Great Wall of China, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Climb this generations-old architectural treasure and enjoy spectacular views atop the best-preserved section of the Great Wall.

Before returning to your hotel, stop at Longdi Jade Factory and take the opportunity to purchase some mementos.
