Day 1: Transfer from Pto.Varas (7am) ​​to Camping La Junta Cochamó

  • Accommodation: We will stay at Camping La Junta, it has dry toilets, water, and camping sites. There is no wifi access.
Puerto Varas
  • 7h
We will meet in Puerto Varas to travel by private car to the beginning of the trail in Cochamó. Here we can load heavy equipment on horses to facilitate the 11-kilometer trek to the La Junta campsite. The transport horse service is not included (60,000 per horse)
Day 2: Reconnaissance climb in La Junta

  • Accommodation: This day we will stay in the Amphitheatre bivouac in a high camp 3 hours from La Junta camping site.
Toboganes de la Junta

Practical reconnaissance climbing of communication commands and route planning 9am (The canteen, Dry wall or Apnea), transfer to the bivouac Amphitheatre.
Day 3: Shark Fin Route Climbing (10 pitches, 525 metres)

  • Accommodation: After the day of climbing we went down to sleep at the La Junta campsite.
Cochamo
  • 8h
Shark Fin Route Climbing (10 pitches, 525 metres) we will get up at 4am to reach the foot of the route. We will climb 6 pitches or 10 if the weather is favourable, the difficulty of the route is 5.10 and we will return to the La Junta campsite. in the evening 9pm.
Day 4: Return Camping La Junta to Pto.varas

Cochamo

We will return to the city of Puerto Varas. (Remember that the transfer of equipment on horses to go down is not included.)
