The tour kicks off in Barichara, Colombia's architectural gem, where we'll be picked up at the main park to head to the picturesque village of Guane. This ancient indigenous settlement, where the Guane aborigines were concentrated during the colonial era, will transport you to another time. After a snack, our local native guide will take us onto the trail that descends into the Suarez Canyon.

With every step, you'll witness the immensity of the two sides of the canyon, an imposing landscape that stretches to the horizon. This path is a journey through the history of the Earth. You'll see rocks that were once part of an ancient sea, with embedded fossils that tell the region's geological history. The trail will guide us to the legendary Lengerke Bridge, an architectural gem built in the 19th century by the German Geo von Lengerke to connect the region's roads.

As you approach the Suarez River, formerly called Sarabita by the Guanes, you'll witness the beauty of the tropical dry forest. Our guide will show you its unique flora and fauna, including the chance to spot endemic species like the amazing anteater.

Finally, the trail will take us to our final destination: the municipality of La Fuente. Here, we'll enjoy a well-deserved lunch in the La Pao ravine, a natural water haven where you can take a refreshing dip. In this place, off the traditional tourist track, you'll feel a unique connection with nature and local communities. With your visit, you'll be directly contributing to the economy of these communities, which preserve the essence of the region.

After recharging, our transport will be waiting for us to return to Barichara, concluding this experience in the main park. It's an ideal adventure for hiking and photography enthusiasts, and for those seeking an authentic connection with the territory and its communities.
