Guayaquil Cloud Forest and Cocoa Farm Tour: Visit a local cacao farm and explore the cloud forest trails outside of Bucay and travel to three different waterfalls to swim under each one. Learn how to make authentic Ecuadorian chocolate, operate a sugar cane press, and enjoy a traditional lunch before you return to Guayaquil.

The tour starts in Guayaquil, at 8 a.m. from your location, and we transfer you to Milagro City at 1H.

You will learn the authentic chocolate local family farm, you will taste and learn the artisanal chocolate process from cocoa plant to table. After the cocoa farm, we will transfer by 1h30min until Bucay city.

when you arrive in Bucay, you can see the natural landscape, which is a green place and mountains around. before starting up on the car until the top of the mountain at 4 200 ft. you will have a local lunch.

On the route, you can see the rivers and plants and you know a local farm, here you enjoy the traditional trapiche (press sugar cane machine)

When we arrive at the Forest we start the hike through natural trails, you will be able to observe a lot of typical plants of a cloud forest, different kinds of trees, and many species of birds, you will also know 3 waterfalls “Las Mellizas” of 45m (135 ft) here you will have a moment to take a shower under its water. Continuing with the hike to the second and third waterfalls, called “Chorrera del Amor” 30m (120 ft.) high, and “Isabela” 295ft (the highest waterfall in Bucay). You will have time to get into the biggest waterfall in Bucay and take many pictures of the memory of your trip.

When leaving the Forest in the same transport return to Guayaquil, where we will arrive at approximately 6 pm and we will leave you at your hotel.
