What you can expect

  • We will meet at the “Börnchen” tap and look for the therapeutic water in the spa park. In doing so, we learn about the history of the spa, including its founder Theodor Hoffmann, see the different areas of the spa park and the different architectures of the buildings in the spa area, and finally find the Bad Salzig springs. There we will try the “Börnchen,” the healing water of Bad Salzig
    Along the way, we will solve a few riddles:

    • Did Theodor Hoffmann really exist?
    • What happens today in the former bunker?
    • What is the “Sensory Garden”?
    • Where has the little forest gone?
    • How many springs does Bad Salzig have?
      If you like, you can cool your feet in the paddling pool at the end.
      The finish is only a few hundred metres from the starting point.
      The route is about 2 km long and has about 100 metres of elevation gain.
