I offer guided tours of Plitvice Lakes National Park in French and German. The park includes 16 lakes that are connected by waterfalls. The Upper Lakes (12 in total) lie on dolomite rock – a nearly water-impermeable rock – while the Lower Lakes are located in a limestone gorge. At the far end of the lake system is the highest waterfall in the park, the Veliki Slap, an impressive 62-meter-high cascade. The water is crystal clear and shimmers in colours ranging from emerald green to turquoise blue. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site; this designation recognises the unique natural processes that form the characteristic travertine barriers. Join me and experience Plitvice Lakes National Park in an authentic way. As a warm-hearted Croatian, I look forward to introducing you to Croatian hospitality. I hope to welcome you soon! Kati
