The Longji Rice Terraces are a breathtaking masterpiece where ancient agricultural wisdom meets natural wonder. For over 600 years, the Yao and Zhuang people have hand-carved these steep ridges into cascading layers that resemble the scales of a giant dragon—hence the name “Longji” (Dragon’s Backbone).
