From the castle grounds, follow the medieval Santa Maria Street to Santiago Square, then pass through the Old Town Hall arcades to reach Oliveira Square, home to the Collegiate Church of Our Lady of Oliveira and the Salado Monument. Continue west to the bustling Toural Square, once a 17th-century marketplace and now a vibrant city hub. Wander through the charming streets of Dom João II, Doutor Bento Cardoso, and Camões, dotted with historic churches and convents. Head south to uncover the medieval leather tanks and the grand São Francisco complex. The tour concludes with a peaceful stroll through the Alameda Public Garden to Campo da Feira Garden, where you’ll find the stunning Church of Our Lady of Consolation.
