The purpose of the Korean Folk Village is to display elements of traditional Korean life and culture. Therefore, so many Korean films and dramas(soap operas) shoot the film in Korea Folk Village. Also, in Korea Folk Village, there are some amusement rides that are for free as long as you buy the admission ticket

It is located inside Starfield Suwon.Shinsegae Group, famous for its department stores, opened its second store in Suwon, following the Byeolmadang Library in COEX Mall, Seoul.
