The Bahrain International Circuit is a 5.412 km motorsport venue opened in 2004 and used for drag racing, GP2 Series, and the annual Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix. The 2004 Grand Prix was the first held in the Middle East.

The Tree of Life in Bahrain is a 9.75 metres high Prosopis cineraria tree that is over 400 years old. It is on a hill in a barren area of the Arabian Desert, 2 kilometres from Jebel Dukhan, the highest point in Bahrain, and 40 kilometres from Manama. The tree is abundantly covered in green leaves.
