La Roqueta is a picturesque island ten minutes by boat from Acapulco Bay. It is one of the favourite tourist attractions in Acapulco and a popular holiday destination for visitors to the city. The island is located in the southern part of the coast of Guerrero, overlooking the bay of the port of the same name Acapulco. It stretches 1.6 km in length and 1.5 km in width, with a total area of 0.71 sq. km.
