What you can expect

  • When you’re searching for the best sunset spot in Halifax, look no further than the Halifax Harbour. Experience golden hour, that magical time of night when the sun makes its way below the horizon, on the Halifax Sunset Cruise aboard our signature ship, the Tall Ship Silva. Purchase wine, beer, cocktails, and other drinks from our onboard bar before you set off from Cable Wharf, cruise past historic Georges Island and make your way towards Maugher Beach and the iconic McNabs Island lighthouse. If conditions are favourable, you’ll be invited to help raise the sails before the Silva circles back for a cruise alongside the stunning Halifax Waterfront. As the sun sets and reflects against the city skyline, historic buildings, and open waters, be sure to snap and share plenty of photos and videos. The Halifax Sunset Cruise is the perfect blend of scenic beauty, relaxation, and unforgettable maritime charm.
