This is a pub built in 1846, whose name comes from the longest-serving landlady, Mary Egerton, who ran the pub in an enthusiastic way. In a time of bustling theatres, picture houses and other related film and entertainment businesses, Miss Egerton was entertaining many icon performers, such as: Frank Sinatra, Charlie Chaplin or Harry Houdini. Word has it that she was involved in the case of the Victorian mass murderer, Dr. Crippen. You must investigate the place for evidence and answer the questions!
