What you can expect

  • As you begin your tour through Old Montreal, stroll past boutiques, museums, and basilicas while you admire the character, architecture, and charm of this city.

While you meander through Notre-Dame Basilica, marvel at the stained-glass windows that paint a picture of Montreal's religious history. This impressive cathedral was built in 1824.

Next, visit Olympic Stadium—created for the 1976 Olympic Games—with the tallest inclined tower in the world at 539 feet (165 m). Then head to Mount Royal Park Lookout to admire spectacular views of the city.

Finally, stroll through St. Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal. This Italian Renaissance style basilica is the largest in Canada and is dedicated to the country's patron saint. Its founder, Brother André, is said to have performed many miracles here in the early 1900s and was canonised in 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI. Still today, millions of people come to visit.
