What you can expect

  • Step into the world of scent creation at MY ONLY FRAGRANCE HIDA TAKAYAMA, located in the picturesque historic district of Hida Takayama. Work alongside a fragrance advisor to create your own unique perfume from start to finish.

Begin by exploring dozens of hand-curated, Japanese-inspired scents displayed in the boutique. Test each scent on blotter strips, allow your intuition to guide you, and select the fragrances that resonate. With guidance, learn about top, middle, and base notes, and how they combine to form your signature aroma.

Next, your advisor will assist in blending and measuring the chosen scents to produce your 100ml bottle. Once the blend is complete, name your fragrance and receive a personalised label—making it truly yours. The finished product serves as a meaningful souvenir from your visit to Hida Takayama.

This experience is beginner-friendly, designed for solo travellers, couples, families, and friends. All materials and the 100ml bottle are included in the price. No prior fragrance-making experience is required.
