San Carlos de Bariloche (Pass by)

Be prepared to explore the natural wonders of Bariloche from the mountain: At the appropriate time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive you on a 30-minute journey towards Catedral Mountain Ski Resort base, located inside Nahuel Huapi National Park.

Once at the base of “Catedral Mount”, the largest ski centre in the southern hemisphere, you will ascend by cable car (ticket included) 2.100metres/ 6.900 feet above sea level, to the beginning of the trail. Afterwards, the moment you were waiting for: Time to start walking! From here, you’ll start an 8-hour high-difficulty hike through high mountain ridges, valleys and lush Andean-Patagonian forests, surrounded by magnificent views of the Andes Mountain Range, Tronador Mount and the Chilean volcanoes. Trekking on this amazing mountain, in total harmony with nature, is a breathtaking experience. You will be accompanied by our guide, trained to provide safety and willing to share his/her knowledge and passion for the nature of Patagonia.

Villa Catedral (Pass by)

By midday, we’ll share a time to relax and enjoy a box lunch near Frey Refuge, surrounded by granite landscape and high altitude lagoons. After lunch, you will continue trekking downhill along the creek of Van Titter Valley, finally getting to Catedral Ski Village, at the base of Catedral Mount.**Trekking Time: 8 hours Elevation gained: -1.050/-3.450ft. Type of terrain: uneven surface, technical trail and rocks

San Carlos de Bariloche (Pass by)

At the end of this amazing hiking journey, you will be driven back to your hotel in Bariloche. **Transport duration will depend on the location of your hotel. **Please note that as it is a private tour, times involved in the activities can be adapted to the travellers' preferences and/or possibilities.
