Most Himara boat trips take you to one cave and a string of beaches. This one is built around the caves themselves.

You'll set off from the Himara mini-dock on a speedboat — small and nimble enough to reach the narrow cave mouths and quiet coves the bigger shared
boats have to skip. Your captain grew up in Himara and has run this coast his whole life, so the route isn't a fixed conveyor belt: it's the stops he'd
take his own friends to, told with the local legends that go with them.

The headline is the legendary Pirates Cave, carved into the Ionian cliffs. Local lore says smugglers and pirates used it as a hideout in Ottoman times
— slip through the narrow entrance and you'll see why it stayed hidden, the whole chamber glowing blue and emerald from light bouncing off the water
and pale limestone. But you won't stop at one. Along the way you'll also reach the Green Cave, a secret cave few visitors ever find, and the Monastery
caves.

Between the caves we drop anchor for swimming and snorkelling in crystal-clear turquoise water, masks provided, and pull into hidden spots like Crystal
Beach and Gjipe that you simply can't reach by road.
