What you can expect

  • Some places change the way you see the world. Hiroshima is one of them.

This fully private tour brings together two of Japan's most extraordinary
destinations — the deeply moving Peace Memorial sites of Hiroshima and the
spiritual island beauty of Miyajima — in a single, thoughtfully guided day.
Unlike group tours where you follow a flag through crowds, this experience is
yours alone: your pace, your questions, your moments.

Your dedicated local guide will meet you at a convenient location — Hiroshima
Station, the cruise terminal, or Peace Memorial Park — and tailor the entire
    day around your interests.

    Hiroshima: A Story of Resilience

Your journey begins at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. You'll stand before the
Atomic Bomb Dome (Genbaku Dome), one of the only structures to survive the
blast of August 6, 1945 — now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most
    powerful monuments in the world.

Nearby, the Children's Peace Monument, the Flame of Peace, and the Victims'
Memorial Cenotaph each offer quiet moments for reflection. Your guide will
give these places context — the stories behind the names, the lives lost, and
the city that rebuilt itself from ash.

The adjacent Peace Memorial Museum holds artefacts, photographs, and survivor
accounts that bring this history to life. Entry fee is not included, but your
guide will accompany you and help navigate its most significant exhibits.

Miyajima Island: Where the Sacred Meets the Sea

After Hiroshima, you'll travel by tram and JR train to Miyajimaguchi, then
take a short ferry crossing to Miyajima Island — one of the three classic
“Views of Japan.” The island has been considered sacred for over 1,400 years.

The iconic red torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine appears to float on the sea
at high tide — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Japan's most
breathtaking sights. Beyond the shrine, explore Daisho-in Temple,
Omotesando Shopping Street (fresh oysters, momiji manju), or hike towards
Mount Misen for panoramic views over the Seto Inland Sea.
