What you can expect

Meet your guide at Miyajimaguchi Station. Board a ferry and head to Miyajima, admiring the iconic floating torii gate from the water.

Upon arrival, visit Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn from your guide why the shrine was built on the sea, how the tides change the scenery, and the significance of the shrine’s architecture and history.

Next, stroll through the town and make your way to the Miyajima Ropeway. Ride the ropeway up to Mt. Misen, enjoying panoramic views of the Seto Inland Sea and the island’s lush nature.

From the ropeway’s end station, hike to the summit of Mt. Misen. Along the way, discover sacred sites and soak in the mountain’s serene atmosphere. At the top, take in breathtaking views of the Seto Inland Sea’s many islands.

Afterwards, descend the mountain and return to the ferry terminal, where your tour concludes.
