The driver/ Guide was good and entertaining but sometimes difficult to understand, but he did his best.

I often suffer from motion sickness so I requested not to be at the back of the bus. I was thrilled to see upon pickup that the front seats had been reserved. Thank you for that. Great trip overall but my one complaint would be that according to my booking we were supposed to have free admission to the castle in Silves but that was not accurate. It’s not about the admission fee as it was negligible but the fact that it was supposed to be included.

The End of the World was excellent!! The castle in Silves was very interesting! The meal was great! It was too bad the fog was so thick at top of Monchique but nobody has control over the weather. I must give a big heads up and thank you to Johnny, our driver. My friend, Linda, left her phone on the bus, and Johnny made sure we were notified as soon as possible that it had been found!! It was a huge relief to Linda!!🤗. Thanks ever so much!!

The scenery was wonderful and the trip to the top of the mountain was great. We didn’t appreciate the tourist traps which seemed to be the main focus of the tour. The “guide” didn’t seem to know very much historical data. We were left on our own to find things in Lagos. I’m used to guides going with you to a spot and giving information. Same way in Silves. He parked the bus for an hour and a half and pointed to where the castle was but gave us no information about it and did not accompany us or give us any clues as to what we might want to see. Quite unlike when we did the tour to Seville a couple of years ago and the day tour to Sintra out of Lisbon. The seats on the bus were extremely narrow and make for a real jammed situation. The lunch was also disappointing. While it was optional it was arranged for us. We expected something that was more traditional Portuguese cuisine. We’d recommend the tour, but with a different guide. Perhaps that was the problem.
