Your journey is in the hands of experienced local drivers who know every bend, viewpoint, and occasional reindeer crossing like the back of their hand. While there is no guide on board, the driver is always happy to answer questions during the stops if there’s anything you’re curious about. All you need to do is relax and let the raw Arctic scenery do what it does best: impress.
In Skarsvåg, you’ll get a taste of life in the world’s northernmost fishing village. Kamøyvær welcomes you with its artistic flair and bright seaside houses, while Tufjord offers calm, wide-open views and that wonderful feeling of being “far away from everything” in the best possible way.
When we arrive at the North Cape, you’ll have plenty of time to explore entirely on your own. Want to enter the visitor centre? Go for it. Prefer to stay outside in the fresh Arctic air, taking in the cliffs, the ocean, and the famous globe? Many do — in fact, around half of our guests choose to spend their time out on the plateau.
Entry to the visitor centre is not included in the tour price, giving you the freedom to decide what suits you best. At the agreed time, we meet back at the bus for a relaxed ride home.
Along the route, the bus makes short photo stops so you can stretch your legs and capture the landscapes from the best angles. Reindeer love this road almost as much as we do, appearing on over 90% of our tours — and yes, the driver will slow down so you can get that perfect Arctic wildlife snapshot if they decide to show off.
