This adventurous five-day tour expands beyond Huangshan into two neighbouring provinces, showcasing incredible diversity: rural landscapes, imperial ceramic heritage, and a modern fantasy resort.

Day 1 starts in Huangshan City with a visit to Tunxi Old Street.

On Day 2, travel to Wuyuan County in Jiangxi. Visit Huangling Village, famous for its stunning “Sun Drying Autumn” harvest scenery set on dramatic terraced hillsides. Explore other classic villages like Xiaoqi or Likeng, with their characteristic Hui-style architecture and peaceful creek-side settings. Overnight in Wuyuan.

Day 3 is dedicated to Jingdezhen, the millennia-old “Porcelain Capital.” Visit the China Ceramics Museum for a comprehensive historical overview, then explore the Ancient Kiln Folk Customs Museum to see traditional pottery-making techniques in action. In the evening, wander through the trendy Taoxichuan Creative Market, a revitalised industrial area now filled with studios, galleries, and ceramic boutiques.

Day 4 presents a striking contrast as you travel to the Wangxian Valley (Immortal's Gorge) in Shangrao. This recently developed scenic area features stunning vernacular-style buildings clinging to steep canyon cliffs, creating a “fairy-tale world” ambiance. It is highly recommended to stay overnight within the valley (in either the Xiansu or Cliffside lodging) to fully experience its enchanting night illumination and avoid the day crowds.

On Day 5, after exploring the valley's paths and bridges, transfer to Shangrao Railway Station for your departure, or make the approximately 3-hour journey back to Huangshan North Station. This itinerary is ideal for photographers, culture enthusiasts, and those seeking unique and visually spectacular destinations.
