Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our sightseeing tour of Chacas and the Three Lagoons! Enjoy a day filled with stunning landscapes and rich Peruvian culture. We'll start the tour in Chacas, a charming town known for its craftsmanship and ancestral traditions. Here, you'll have the opportunity to interact with the locals and learn about their way of life.
Then, we'll head to the Tres Lagunas, a natural paradise that will take your breath away. Take in magnificent views of the lagoons with their clear, turquoise waters, surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks. This tour is ideal for photography and nature lovers, with no long hikes. Our sightseeing tour includes expert guides who will share fascinating stories and facts, as well as delicious traditional meals to replenish your energy.
ITINERARY:
9:00 a.m.: Departure from the city of Huaraz (3,090 metres above sea level) heading north to the city of Carhuaz (2,638 metres above sea level). We'll enjoy delicious ice cream made from pure milk and natural fruit. From Carhuaz, we'll take the new road that leads to the Conchucos Valley. We'll enter the Huascarán National Park to register and make the respective payment.
Our tour continues through the Quebrada Ulta, in the middle of a beautiful valley surrounded by the imposing snow-capped mountains of the Cordillera Blanca. We will ascend in a zigzag pattern until we reach the Punta Olímpica tunnel (4,736 metres above sea level, 1,384 metres long, considered the highest trans-Andean tunnel in the world). From here, we will have a beautiful panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains: Huascarán, Chopilcalqui, and Ulta. We will make a short stop to take photos and visit the Cancaraca and Yanaraju lagoons.

We continue our tour until we reach Chacas (3,360 metres above sea level). We will visit the Plaza de Armas in Chacas, the Church of the Virgin of Asunción (Mama Ashu), and the Don Bosco craft workshops and their fine wood, textile, clay, and glass work that is exported around the world.
