Overview

Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve is a private protected natural area located in the middle of the Araucanian Andes, 860 km south of Santiago de Chile, in the commune of Panguipulli, in the Region of Los Rios. It borders Argentina to the east. It is characterised by the conservation of the southern huemul and three new types of ferns, in addition to the protection of flora and fauna and the care of local communities.
