HUNTER VALLEY WINE COUNTRY DAY TOUR.
DEPARTING DAILY
7:00am – Depart Sydney and travel across the Sydney Harbour Bridge towards the Hunter Valley. Short comfort stop en route.
10:00am – Arrive into the Hunter Valley with your first stop at the iconic Audrey Wilkinson Winery (or similar), perched on the foothills of the Brokenback Range with breathtaking 360-degree scenery. Established in the 1860s, it’s one of Australia’s oldest vineyards. Enjoy a guided tasting of their elegant wines and learn the stories behind this historic estate - a perfect start to your Hunter Valley experience.
11:15am - Arrive at the iconic Mount Pleasant Wines (or similar) - one of the Hunter Valley’s most storied wineries and a true cornerstone of Australian winemaking. Today, you’ll enjoy a curated tasting that showcases Mount Pleasant’s exceptional range of estate-grown and single-vineyard wines. You’ll have the rare opportunity to taste Australia’s oldest Pinot Noir, while overlooking the very vines that produce it - an experience that combines history, craftsmanship and the natural beauty of the Hunter Valley.
12:15pm – Today’s experience includes a premium two-course lunch paired with local Hunter Valley red and white wines chosen to match each dish. Lunch is hosted at voco™ Kirkton Park Hotel an elegant country manor - one of the Hunter Valley’s most scenic and distinguished dining venues (or similar)
14:00pm – After lunch we then continue to the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company for a delicious chocolate tasting, offering an indulgent moment to enjoy the region’s handcrafted sweet creations.
15:00pm - We conclude our Hunter Valley tasting journey with a visit to Binnorie Dairy, renowned for its award-winning soft cheeses, where you’ll enjoy a premium cheese tasting experience.
3:45pm – Commence our return journey to Sydney
6:00pm – Arrive back in Sydney
