Overview

A Glacier Ice Cave is like the cherry on top of your sundae. This snowmobile adventure tour takes you along the outskirts of Langjökull Glacier to our very own Ice Cave. A custom-made cave that runs 70 metres into the thick icecap. Like Snowmobiling in the Icelandic Highlands isn't enough, exploring inside the Glacier is a once in a lifetime experience.

Activity itinerary

We will meet you at Gullfoss Café car park. From there you will get a ride with a super lorry up to our base (35-60 minute drive depending on the season). At the base, we will gear up for the tour and head over to where the snowmobiles are located. We will go over how best to operate the snowmobile and safety protocols as well as answer any questions you might have. We start up and head out, for about an hour snowmobile tour and visit the ice cave and include stops on the way if the weather permits it. After the snowmobile tour, we returne to base and get ready to head back to Gullfoss. The tour can take from 3-4 hours depending on the road and weather conditions each time.
