Isla Negra House of Pablo Neruda -Pomaire
Located in front of the Pacific Ocean with beautiful views of the bay. It was the residential house that the poet Pablo Neruda co-designed and lived in between 1939 and 1973. The visitor can learn about aspects of the poet's life and work in a house-museum. It is beautiful and magical. They give you an audio that tells each storey of the rooms.
We left very early (7:40 a.m.) to be able to arrive at 10:00 a.m. since admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, being a place highly visited by locals and schools. We travel along Highway 78 towards the coast. The visit lasts approx. After an hour, you can then tour the bookshop, enjoy the views, and go down to the beach where there is a sculpture of the Poet on a rock. At 12 o'clock we go to Pomaire, a small craft town of Barro and you will be able to have lunch (on behalf of the passengers) and tour the town for 16 hours. Designed for a minimum of 2 people per reservation. Private and Personalised Experience.
