    Basilica Cistern: Guided Tour

    Descend beneath the streets of Istanbul and discover the mysterious Basilica Cistern with a professional English-speaking guide. Built during the Byzantine era as an underground water reservoir, this impressive structure is famous for its atmospheric columns, reflections, and iconic Medusa head sculptures.

    Your guide will introduce you to the history of the cistern, its remarkable engineering, and the stories behind its most fascinating features as you explore the underground chambers together.

    Guided tours are available daily except Fridays at 10:30 and 16:30. Please meet your guide in front of Roots and Roasted Cafe at least 15 minutes before your selected tour time. Look for the white Istanbul Tourist Pass flag.
